The catcher Andy Allanson is on the cover of the Cleveland Indians program. Doc Edwards was the manager to the Indians in Cleveland Stadium. There is an interesting article on Lou Boudreau retiring his jersey. There are also other players mentioned that had their jersey numbers retired too. The article is called “My Hero” by Tim Needles. It is really amazing to go back and look at the old programs and compare them to the new ones or compare them to other eras.
