1981 MLB All-Star Game Program
The 1981 All-Star has made its 4th appearance in Cleveland, Ohio. The All-Star Game were here in years 1935, 1954, and 1963. An All-Star Game is between the top talent in the National league and the American League. There was a players’ strike in 1981 that pushed the All-Star game from June 12 to July 31. There were 72,086 and set a record for the highest attendance at Cleveland Stadium. This record still stands as of 2014. George H.W. Bush threw out the first pitch. Len Barker was the only player from the Cleveland Indians. The National league won the game 5-4.
How collectible is the 1981 MLB All-Star Game Program?
The 1981 MLB All-Star program can be had relatively cheap. It is just a matter of finding one. This program appeals to All-Star Game program collectors. This program is not a highly coveted item. There are a lot of cool pictures in this program. My favorite pages were pg. 11 of Bob Feller and pg. 71 of Cleveland Stadium.
