Opening Day in 1994 was an exciting time. The Cleveland Indians moved to Jacobs Field named after Richard Jacobs owner of the Cleveland Indians at the time. The Cleveland Indians would play there first game of the season at the brand new stadium. Dennis Martinez and Jack Morris was signed in the offseason. We had also traded Felix Fermin for Omar Vizquel. Mike Hargrove was the manager and John Hart was the general manager for the Cleveland Indians. President Bill Clinton threw out the first pitch to Sandy Alomar Jr. The Cleveland Indians played the Seattle Mariners with Ken Griffey Jr. The Cleveland Indians won the game in 11 innnings 4-3 in front of a sold out crowd.
